Commonwealth Launches Effort to Optimize 530A Account Enrollment Among Low and Moderate Income Households

A $1,000 seed is only powerful if families know about it and can access it.

That’s the focus of Commonwealth’s work on 530A “Trump” Accounts. We are building a coalition of partners to expand awareness and access, while developing a research-driven roadmap to help ensure families, especially those living on low and moderate incomes, have clear, unbiased information to make informed decisions.

This work goes beyond access. It’s about ensuring families have what they need to decide if and how to participate.

On June 1 at the Plansponsor National Conference in Nashville, Commonwealth Associate Director Robin Flaharty will join the panel “The Financial Wellness Show and Tell”, where she will share a case-study deep dive that demonstrates how to support employees through financial wellness benefits.
